Pietrasanta is a small ancient city built in the 1200's and is internationally renowned for marble carving and home to many sculpting studios and bronze foundries. You can find restaurants, cafe/bars, train and bus station, shopping, galleries, internet service, and more all within the historic town center.

artspace organizes housing for each student in pleasant, fully furnished apartments in the historical town center of Pietrasanta, based on each students requirements. There are accommodation choices ranging from single apartments with 1 or 2 bedrooms to private rooms in an apartment shared with other students (maximum 4). For special housing situations artspace will assist in finding the type of accommodation required. All the accommodations are clean, comfortable, fully furnished and supplied with modern kitchen facilities and bathrooms, linens and washing machine.

There are three standard ACCOMMODATION OPTIONS to choose from. The prices quoted are for the entire three weeks of the workshop and inclusive of the Saturday and Sunday before the workshop begins on Monday, and until the Sunday morning of the last week. The optional 4th week of the workshop costs € 350.00 Euro which includes instruction and the extra week of housing. For special housing requests prices may vary.

1. A private room in an apartment in Pietrasanta shared with other students from the workshop.

€ 525.00 Euro for a furnished accommodation (private room) including utilities.
€ 25 Euro per night will be charged for extra nights beyond the three weeks.

2. Your own apartment in Pietrasanta.
€ 950.00 Euro for a one bedroom furnished apartment.
€1,300 Euro for a two bedroom furnished apartment.
3. Renting a room at a Pietrasanta Hotel
Hotel reservations will need to be made by the student.
A list of hotels in Pietrasanta is available as needed.

If you plan to arrive before the workshop begins or stay on after it ends, you may need to make hotel reservations for those additional days. Occasionally, artspace may have space available for you to stay. Check with Kyle for availability prior to booking reservations.
Each extra day is € 25 Euro. Guests accompanying a student residing in a shared apartment must pay a guest fee of€ 25 Euro per night. Prices subject to change without notice.
