The studio is located at Almora B&B, 8 acres of olive groves and woodlands in the foothills of the Apuan Alps, just minutes from the Pietrasanta historic center. Bordered by ancient chestnut trees in a secluded wooded area, the studio is a short 2 minutes walk from the accommodations in Almora B&B and 5 minutes to the local bus stop. The indoor and outdoor workshops are fully equipped for all aspects of marble carving, both by hand, pneumatic and electrical power tools.
The pagoda, in a peaceful area near the studio, is nice for yoga, meditation or just quiet relaxation while appreciating the surrounding nature. The indoor studio provides a bathroom, refrigerator, and refreshment area for those who like to have lunch or a snack at the studio.
The instructors work with the students 9am to 12pm and 1pm to 5pm workdays and from 9am to 12:30pm on Saturdays. The studio remains open daily including weekends until evening, allowing students to continue working independently if they wish.
